One of the first international projects of the company dates back to 1992, when PUTEVI participated in the reconstruction of the runway at Raduzhny Airport, Siberia – Russia.
This project marked the beginning of our long-term and successful engagement on the Russian market. On this project, PUTEVI acted as both designer and main contractor for the reconstruction of the runway. The works were completed ahead of schedule, within only six months, demonstrating a high level of organization, technical capability, and efficiency. Part of the construction equipment required for the project was transported by cargo aircraft from Detroit, USA, directly to Siberia, which confirms the logistical complexity and importance of the project.
Airport construction projects hold a significant place in the company’s reference list, including works on the runways at: Nizhnevartovsk Airport, Russia; Sochi Airport, Russia. Shortly thereafter, the runway construction at Ponikve Airport marked PUTEVI AD Užice’s fourth project in this sector.
