The hotel was recognized in 2010 and 2011 as the best in Russia (Posturizm, CN Traveler, World Travel Awards). It hosted the presentation of Sochi’s bid for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games and the signing of the agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and Formula 1 for holding Formula 1 races in Sochi.

The main building was constructed in the finest traditions of Stalinist neoclassicism. A hotel for relaxation and recreation of prominent political and public figures. Royal design, the most luxurious and expensive hotel along the entire Black Sea coast.
It features its own subtropical park and a private garden for growing vegetables and fruits for the hotel’s main kitchen. There are three luxury restaurants (Black Magnolia, Moscow, and Black Sea Beach Club) and the largest SPA center in Europe.
