Striking grandeur, preserved and modernized Soviet architecture.
The construction of the most beautiful complex of national significance began back in the 1930s and was completed after the war in 1949, when the best Soviet and international scientists had the opportunity to relax and improve their health at the “Nauka” Sanatorium on the Black Sea coast, surrounded by a stunning 7-hectare park.

Architect A.V. Samoilov and dendrologist Filippova received state awards for the realization of this remarkable project. At one time, Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin and Neil Armstrong—the American astronaut and the first man to walk on the Moon—rested here.
Restoration down to the smallest details and expansion took place between 2011–2013 (PUTEVI AD Užice). Century-old trees in the beautiful hotel park, covering an area of 7 hectares, were fully preserved during the reconstruction and expansion.
